Our SB Ford dampers are the most universal dampers made. Featuring three sets of timing marks and both 3 and 4-bolt accessory pulley patterns, these dampers will fit every SB Ford engine. The early style harmonic damper fits all 1980 and earlier 289/302/351W/351C/351M/400 engines which utilize the 28.4 oz. in. c'weight. The bolt-in weight can be removed if required.

The late style damper has a 50 oz. in. counterweight and is suitable for all '81 and later 5.0L engines. This damper is made to the early short length so you can install a late 5.0L engine in an early chassis or street rod. We also offer three different bolt-on spacers (shown) which provide the proper spacing for correct pulley alignment. See the "Notes" section to determine the spacer you need.
